Veg Out For A Cause

Tuckerman Brewing Company hosts month-long benefit for Mount Washington Valley Eaters and Growers

Conway, NH — On Friday, August 7th, MWVEG will be at Tuckerman Brewing Co. to present “Veg Out For A Cause” where patrons can learn more about MWVEG’s initiatives and mission, and participate in fun veggie themed lawn games, with raffles, prizes and more. This is a family friendly event.

Tuckerman Brewing Company will be showcasing locally grown veggies from area farmers for the entire month of August, with a portion of proceeds from their veggie pizza going to support MWVEG and our work promoting local food and local food access.

Tomato Taste Test at MWV Farmers Market

On Tuesday, August 11th, from 3:30-6:30pm we'll be showcasing and tasting dozens of varieties of tomatoes. From Slicing types to beefsteak, heirlooms and cherry tomatoes. You'll find red, yellow, pink, purple, black, and maybe some green ones too. If you love tomatoes, mark your calendar for the Tomato Tasting at the MWV Farmers' Market in North Conway Village, on Tuesday August 11th. Come by, grab a farm guide, peruse our veggie print t-shirts, and taste the ultimate sweetness of summer.

MWVEG Annual Gathering

During the event we will be debuting our new video and photography footage from the past year, highlighting and celebrating farmers in the MWV. We will also be hosting a Seed Swap and Homemade Goods Swap, so bring your seeds or a homemade good to trade if you so wish. A warm meal will be provided using fresh and local ingredients of course. We invite you to join us!

Farm To Bowl at The Preserve

Join us for this special event celebrating local food and community. This year's Farm To Bowl, hosted by MWVEG will be at The Preserve in Tamworth. We have two ticket options this year. If you're looking for a nourishing meal, we'll be serving delicious soups made from local ingredients, with an option to purchase a handmade pottery bowl, yours to keep, with your soup. There will be live music by No Dogs on Grass, a raffle, and such good food!

Food For All Local Food Access Fund Application

MWVEG's Food For All local food access fund is here to offer financial assistance to help you purchase locally grown and raised food in and around the MWVEG.

Please apply between February 23-March 8.

Winter Fest, a benefit for Chocorua Lake Conservancy and Tamworth Outing Club

On Saturday, February 7, join Chocorua Lake Conservancy (CLC) and Tamworth Outing Club (TOC) for Winter Fest, a fun day and evening of outdoor and indoor activities in Chocorua. Bring your family, bring a friend, or come meet some new ones!

Winter Fest Indoors and out • 1–5 PM at The Preserve at Chocorua! (Free/by donation). MWVEG will be there with a family fun activity, so come find us!

Build relationships, learn about us and our mission, or simply enjoy our good food and company - this is a public event for all to join.
